Lip enhancement (lip augmentation) treatments can be used to create youthful, full lips by injecting dermal fillers into the body & boarders of the natural lip. Dermal fillers can be used to enhance the natural features of a youthful lip by create more volume & definition in areas such as the cupids bow. Alternatively it can treat ageing lips by restoring lost volume & soften lines that may have appeared around the mouth area. This treatment is suitable for both men & women.
Only high quality, modern hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are used to ensure the safest of treatments are administered. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that helps to keep skin full, hydrated & elastic. At Renuvo Beauty we use two brands of dermal filler, Juvederm & Teoxane. Both offer a range of products with differing gel densities & unique properties making each one specific to treating different concerns.
Clients have the choice of numbing cream or dental block (additional cost) to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
Results vary from client to client & chosen product. All treatments are performed by registered prescriber nurse Jayne.

Side effects with hyaluronic acid based fillers are very low risk versus silicone-based fillers where allergic reactions & risk of disfigurement is high.
Swelling & bruising are both common side effects with any injectable treatment. Tenderness & mild discomfort may also be experienced. This usually subsides within 3-5 days.
Improvements will be seen immediately after treatment with final results been seen after about 2 weeks after the filler has settled & any swelling has subsided.
Different dermal fillers have different gel densities & unique properties making each one specific to treating different concerns. They also have differing longevities. The quantity of the filler is represented by mls.
