DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is the manual exfoliation of the epidermis using a sterile, surgical scalpel on taut skin. This removes up to 3 weeks of surface debris & excess vellus hair (peach fuzz). During the treatment skin cell regeneration is triggered resulting in anti-aging benefits. Vellus hair traps in dirt & make-up so by removing this as well as the surface debris, there is an increase in the absorption of topical products. The skin appears soft, radiant & glowing with smoother make-up application. After you can expect to see an instant improvement in skin texture & tone. Long-term, due to the increase in cell renewal, there is a reduction of wrinkles, dark spots & mild acne scarring.

FAQs
Will my hair grow back worse?
No, dermaplaning will not alter your natural hair growth. Only vellus hair is removed, not terminal hairs. Dermaplaning does not interfere with the follicular structure of the hair.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime. You can resume your normal activities immediately following the treatment. Aftercare must be followed.
How frequently should I have dermaplaning?
It is recommended to space appointments 2-4 weeks apart to allow the skin time to regenerate for the best results.
